North-South Local Road (preferred
way - no traffic lights after Wal-Mart): The
North-South Road runs, surprise, surprise, from north to south,
approximately parallel to Routes 16 & 302. The southerly
terminus is by Wal-Mart. There are only a few connectors between
this road and Routes 16&302 until you get to North Conway
proper. Travel North on the North-South Local Road until the
northbound lane ends; turn right onto Kearsarge Street; McBurney
Law Offices is the second building on the right.
Routes 16 & 302: Northbound
- When you enter North Conway Village proper headed north, you
will pass on your right side Artists Falls Road, Depot Street,
Grove Street, Seavey Street and the next street, the one with a
traffic light, is Kearsarge Street. It's right after the Train
Station (on your left) and Horsefeathers (on your right). Turn right at the light and
McBurney Law Offices is approximately .25
miles east (toward Cranmore Mtn.). Be careful
when you cross the terminus of the North South Local Road, because
sometimes the cars stop at the stop signs. Sometimes they do
not.
Routes 16 & 302: Southbound - When you
enter North Conway Village proper headed south, you will pass Pine
Street (which has a traffic light) and Mechanic Street (which does
not) on your
left. The next street is Kearsarge Street, and there is a traffic
light. Turn left at that light (toward Cranmore) and McBurney Law Offices is approximately .25
miles east. Be careful when you cross the terminus of the North
South Local Road, because sometimes the cars stop at the stop
signs. Sometimes
they do not.
Above is a link to a map of the North Conway area courtesy
of the Conway Daily Sun showing where we
are. Since the Sun is on the next street over, it knows where we
are. If you use commercial or on-line mapping, be aware that these
maps do not always pick up the difference between Kearsarge Street
and Kearsarge Road. As North Conway old-timers know, Kearsarge Street runs east-west,
perpendicular to Main Street and Kearsarge Road, both of
which run north-south.
